This was my first attempt at learning a new technique - a paint-over of 3D models. A lot of pros do this to help speed up their artworks, whether they work of art for computer games or films etc. I designed the giant severed robot head a while back when I was printing 3D models for toys, and it's loosely based on a Transformer (Ultra Magnus), but with a bit of a more skelly look to it to give it some menace. Always neat to try something new. This could be a very interesting stepping stone - it's based on a tutorial by Bryn Geronimo Jones.
